KABALE-A 30 year old bar owner has committed suicide in Kabala Municipality.
The deceased who is known as Grace Ahimbisibwe by her names, a resident of central East cell, central
Division, kabale municipality in kabala district was yesterday found dead in her residence at Agaba motel
building.
The shocking incident came to be known when Fred Kadugara 57 a resident of Makanga cell, Butobere
ward, central division, Kabale Municipality, reported her disappearance. According to Kadugara,she was
last seen on January 20,2024,at her bar and later a missing person case was filed under kabala SD
Ref;35/30/01/2024.
The disheartening discovery was made by police from the homicide desk, led by D/AIP Mugabe Derrick,
along with the regional SOCO and District SOCO DCPL Mubangizi. Grace’s body was found hanging by a
piece of cloth around her neck in her residence.
Elly Maate, the kigezi region police spokesperson confirmed that the crime was thoroughly documented,
and photographs were taken. Following the necessary procedures, the body was removed from the
scene and transported to the kabale regional referral mortuary where it awaits a postmortem
examination
