KAMPALA – Recently, Kampala Businessman Shukla Mukesh reclaimed his prime city land on Plot 24/26 located on Mukabya Road Nakawa, adjacent to Shumuk Group companies. This was after a marathon and battle of several court cases. However, according to what is coming in currently, the dust seems not to settle sooner.
Red pepper moles have since learnt that a couple of days, immediately after gaining hope for the full occupation of said plot of land from the Nakawa court of appeal, Mukesh embarked on redevelopment and fenced the land with iron sheets in which inside he parked a metallic container. But later on the morning of 14th October, another drummer ensued and the container was found missing with vandalism of fenced iron sheet. This has since prompted Mr. Mukesh to go back again to the authorities and have further protection. He has since petitioned security agencies and courts of law to provide urgent security and court redress respectively.
According to the petition seen by this publication written on 27th October, copied to IGP/Dpp Nakawa security, Head Security operations Nakawa Police, Mr. Wakapabulo (Criminal counsel) Ms. Judith and Hon. Justice Ester. Mr. Mukesh said he reported a case of fence breakages enclosed outturn in the nights of Friday 26/27th, at around 1am in the mid-night. He begged the Courts and Police for assistance at least from Nakawa Community police post or Police lison security (PLS) to take note of recurrences and stop culprits.
Shumuk boss also requested Nakawa Police post to advise glaring policemen over impunity. Adding that on Wednesday his machine were nearly damaged factory closed due to insecurity. He complained of previous several case files at jinja Road ciid Criminal case over Plot 24/ 26 since October 2022 and asked court to restrain Mr. Drake Lubega who has continued his illegal appetite of trespass and intrusions as suspect on it.
Conclusively, Mr. Mukesh said he’s obliged to seek redress and assistance at the earliest convenience with injunction order on suspected culprits. Thus bail extended since Feb 2023 pending appearances court with additional complaints to rsa/dpp nakawa on records. This will attract malicious intrusions on 14th October 2023, forceful intrusions, forceful trespass, malicious damages of roofing and some product machineries (roofing and washing line damages of factory on record) but also request for temporary Injunction from court, under criminal case file interim injunction to assist police to stop him to destroy the factory in due course with police impunity. “If not to say bye bye to plot 24/26 as per management needs urgent court order to safe guard as emergencies” Mukesh said in a petition.
