Nansana – Wakiso, Two pupils have been confirmed dead and 5 others injured in a fatal crash today at Kabulengwa village Nansana involving M/v UBA 104G Isuzu Elfu & Juvenile pedestrians.
According to the Area Traffic officer,Michael Kananura, the incident which happened at around 9:30am involved pupils at Golden Primary School.
The incident occurred when the said vehicle loaded with plastic chairs while climbing a hilly muram road lost control and moved backward rammed into juvenile pedestrians who were moving in an opposite direction. The incident resulted into instant death of 2 and injuring 5 others.
The victims have been rushed to St . Joseph’s hospital Wakiso while the deceased were conveyed to Mulago City Mortuary according to Kananura.
The Vehicle was towed to Lubigi police station as more investigations are underway.
