Ibanda – A man in Ibanda has been accused of chopping off his wife’s right hand with a machete, alleging she was involved in an extramarital affair.
The victim, Catherine Mbabazi, is receiving medical treatment at Kasande Clinic.
Police reports indicate that the incident occurred on Sunday at 5:00 PM in Bufunda 1 Cell, Bufunda Ward.
Police are investigating the attack, confirmed by Rwizi region Police spokesperson SP Samson Kasasira. No arrests have been made yet, and inquiries are ongoing.”
