President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni presided over the passing out ceremony of 45 Air Force Defence trainees at Kalangalo Marine Training School in Kasanje sub-county, Wakiso District. During the ceremony, he congratulated the officers for successfully completing their training.

Expressing his appreciation, President Museveni commended the trainees for their incredible demonstrations, highlighting the skills and knowledge they acquired during their course. The event was attended by defense state minister Rt Hon. Jacob Oboth Oboth and Deputy Chief of Defense Forces Lt. Gen. Peter Elwelu.

In addition to the military ceremony, President Museveni engaged with the local communities during stopovers. In Kasanje, he assured the residents that the government would address the condition of the Kasanje main road. He pledged to work with the Ministry of Works and Transport to initiate necessary preparations for the road’s improvement.

During another stopover in Nakawuka village, President Museveni apologized for the poor state of the road and committed to addressing the issue. He assured residents that he would personally engage with their Member of Parliament to find a solution to the road’s condition
