LONDON – After nearly 10 years of visa ban, H.E Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has been given a green light into the United Kingdom. This came as a result of inciting homophobic attacks on LGBTQ+ people in a song Burn Dem released in 2014. In the company of his wife Barbie Kyagulanyi Itungo, Hon John Baptist Nambeshe and several NUP leaders.

Several Ugandans and other eminent personalities gathered at Bertha DocHouse theatre for the
premiere of the riveting “BOBI WINE THE PEOPLE PRESIDENT” ‘Bobi Wine: The People’s President’.
The premiere was followed by a special Q&A screening with NUP President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and First Lady Barbie Itungo Kagaaju Kyagulanyi.

John Boyega a celebrated British actor & film producer introduced the film to the audience at the
beginning in a profound way. This gripping documentary charts the inspiring activism of President
Kyagulanyi aka Bobi, the pop star-turned-revolutionary leader of our struggle to end Mr. Tibuhaburwa
Museveni’s dictatorship.

The documentary also looks at Kyagulanyi Ssentamu’s attempt to unseat President Yoweri Kaguta
Museveni Tibuhaburwa.

While speaking at the ceremony he promised never to stop exposing Museveni’s atrocities, persecution
of political opponents, intimidation, physical violence, torture and even death of many of our comrades
and supporters such as Yasin Kawuma, Rita Nabukenya, and Frank Ssenteza.

    lyrics, what changed? Why are you allowed in?
    Bobi: I took responsibility. We grow and transform.

    would be very cautious
  3. Host: Do you support or oppose the law?
    Bobi: It was brought targeting the opposition
  4. Host: But your party (National Unity platform) voted in favour of the law in its entirety
    Bobi: Sure, in my party, I have MPs working with Museveni
