In an effort to modernize Nakawa and different parts of Kampala into fast-industrial zones, Shukla Mukesh, a City Businessman, has volunteered to support green entrepreneurs, aiming to mentor and coach them in running enterprises to generate employment for the youth. Mukesh, an industrialist and vice chairman of NRM entrepreneurs league, sees green entrepreneurship as a strategy to address acute youth unemployment post-COVID-19.
On Monday, he inaugurated a green entrepreneurs task force, emphasizing entrepreneurship as a catalyst for job creation and the area’s development. Mukesh pledges to consolidate industrialization, boost revenue generation, and ensure good governance for accelerated development in Nakawa division.
Expressing his commitment, Mukesh stated, “I want to be a unique leader offering solutions to development, as citizens are tired of politicians with mere words and no delivery.”
Shukla Mukesh, renowned for promoting industrialization, heads the Shumuk Group, which encompasses various ventures such as manufacturing aluminum cooking utensils, multiple warehouses, a milk-processing plant, commercial buildings, automobile import and sales, money-lending, foreign exchange bureau, and several hotels.
